Things are progressing with the book publishing, and I am again looking for some input. I have two photos that I am considering for the front cover of the book. Though I have already pretty much made up my mind which I want to use, I would like to know which you would pick up first. Keep in mind the title No Time to Quit with the subtitle Life in a Broken Package.
Let me know which you would pick up first, the child or the plant. ?Use the comment section below this post. Thanks!
The child. I love old photos. And I already see so many seedlings. 🙂
Thanks for your comments, Doreen. I wonder why you would say you see too many seedlings already…
I would choose the plant. I like the look of that, and feel it goes with the title a bit more 🙂
Thanks for your input, Jessica!
I’m not really keen on either one. The photo, which is a lovely old photo, doesn’t tie to the title. The seedling doesn’t have enough pizazz in my opinion.
Check this link. I just went to wikimedia commons and typed in broken pot.

I’m not necessarily crazy about the plants, but love that wire around the pot and the fact that it is so full of life.
Thanks, Doraine! I checked out the link and understand why you like the photo.
It is such a tough call!!! I think maybe the plant, but it’s a very close call. Good luck in your decision – either will be great! 🙂
Thanks for your comment, Sarah.
I like the punch of the plant but really LIKE the child. Is there a way to have the child picture be less busy? Remove frame? Tough call
My first vision of the child photo was without the frame and having the shrubs fade to the edges of the cover. Thanks for your input.
I think the photo…I was trying to imagine what I would pick up first if there were a table of books for sale and both were laying on it and the photo, with that title, would intrigue me the most and that would be the one I would choose to look at first.
That is exactly what I was hoping people would imagine, a table of books including ones with these photos. Thanks for your input, Cille. This photo is the one where Grandma was hiding in the shrubs behind Mom holding her up.
